yay watched charlie and the chocolate factory today. pretty good, the sight of the chocolate rivers and waterfalls got me really hyped up. i was bouncing around in my seat wishing there was really such a place, and partly also trying not to freeze into a block of ice.

but it set me thinking. about how one can achieve so much, to have the world at his feet, and yet lack the simplest things in life, like a family. it made me realise how everything one achieves stems from the family, and how they're always supportive, though it may not be obvious. it made me promise to get along with my family, and not complain about my mum even when she's going on forever just because i didn't wash my desert spoon. like now.

johnny depp has got to be the world's greatest actor.
